If you’re looking to make certain a person never, ever, picks up a gun again, go ahead and hand them a scoped rifle, but don’t explain eye relief. Give them a shotgun with goose loads, and laugh your butt off when they drop the gun and dislocate their shoulder. Anybody who thinks this stuff is funny; its not. Marksmanship and firearm handling is a slow process that should start with a .22 rimfire, and worked up from there. The only exception I can see is a 5.56 NATO in an AR platform, as there is so little perceived recoil. Did you notice in these video clips the lack of ear and eye protection?
